Using PowerSchool Mobile to Assist Students on Day ONE

On Monday & Tuesday (October 19th & 20th) students will be physically returning to your campus for the first time in over six months. With newly revised schedules to accommodate the hybrid learning model, it is natural to expect that some students may experience confusion regarding what classroom they should be in during each period.

By following the steps for installing PowerSchool on your mobile devices (iPhone or Android), you can help to ensure that your staff is prepared to assist students quickly and efficiently.

Installing the PowerSchool Admin Page on iPhones and iPads

  1. Use the Safari iOS browser to navigate to http://powerschool.susd12.org/admin
  2. In the top-right corner of the page, click the share button and select Add to Home Screen
  3. You should now see the SIS link on the homepage of your device.

By using the mobile link, staff members should be able to immediately see what teacher and room number a student should be in by clicking on the binocular icon at the top of the page (see below).

Installing the PowerSchool Admin page on Android Devices

  1. Use the Chrome Browser to navigate to http://powerschool.susd12.org/admin
  2. In the top-right corner of the page, click the THREE DOTS and select Add to Home Screen
  3. You should now see the PowerSchool SIS Page Link on the wallpaper of your mobile device.

By using the mobile link, staff members should be able to immediately see what teacher and room number a student should be in by clicking on the find me option in the menu (see below).
